Sustainable Program for Mental Health

Sustainable Program for Mental Health

We are currently working with a major federal government department to:

  • Develop Terms of Reference, membership, and governance to establish a departmental committee to provide guidance and direction on the management of psychological health led by the Mental Health Champion.
  • Develop an Integrated Mental Health Framework – This will set out the vision, desired outcomes, pillars of activities, and the expected outputs and short-term outcomes. This include an integrated plan of priority activities phased-out over the next three years to achieve measurable outcomes. The framework will be in a placemat format suitable for communication publications.
  • Organize a forum with stakeholders to discuss the current organizational approach on psychological health (Identify opportunities for improvements, current challenges and obstacles, coordination issues, departmental priorities, etc.). The key output of the forum will be a list of priority actions phased out over a multi-year roadmap.
  • Identify key performance indicators to monitor the status of psychological health and assess progress. This indicators will align with the framework, and follow SMART principles. They will be leading and lagging indicators, and will serve as the basis for continuous improvement of services and programming around psychological health in the workplace.
